ClearStory (www.clearstory.co.uk) was founded by the BAFTA and Grierson Award-winning Executive Producers Molly Milton and Russell Barnes. The company has established a reputation for dynamic and diverse factual programmes successfully distributed to networks worldwide. The company has produced the Grierson Award-winning documentary Gypsy Blood, the provocative and sceptical Richard Dawkins: Sex, Death & the Meaning of Life and the noisy studio format Sex Box for Channel 4. Other recent credits include Damien Hirst by Harry Hill, a humorous Passions documentary for Sky, Battlefield Recovery, a four-part archaeology series for Channel 5 and extensive output for the BBC, including two series of DanceWorks (observational films made in collaboration with Sadler’s Wells and winner of the Grand Prix at the 2019 Golden Prague Awards), Utopia: In Search of the Dream presented by Richard Clay, Oceans Apart which charts the clash of European and indigenous art during the colonisation of the Pacific, and African Renaissance, a critically-acclaimed cultural travelogue presented by Afua Hirsch. ClearStory is currently in production on a landmark 7-part cultural history series for BBC2.
